Central Moving moved White & Case, LLP, one of the largest law firms in New York City, from 1155 Avenue of the Americas to 1221 Avenue of the Americas. Central Moving’s services included office moving, warehouse receiving and delivery, asset management, project management, and the packing, moving, and unpacking of libraries and reference areas. The 450,000-square-foot, 900-person move took place over two weekends.
Challenge: The ambitious schedule called for the packing and unpacking of partner offices, libraries, and file rooms. New monitors were delivered to the Central Moving warehouse to be inspected, inventoried, and labeled. Our team then delivered and installed the monitors at the new location. The project included the removal and distribution of partner furniture to more than 50 partners’ homes.
Central Moving: The packing and unpacking of partner offices and file and reference areas required detailed planning and experienced packers. For this project, each partner’s office was photographed prior to packing, in order to re-create the office after it had been moved and unpacked.
